Left behind by waves

caressing the shore.

Temporary footsteps. 

Like magic?

nice, like wood grain,

Nature, the water calligrapher
draws circles in the sand, brushes the shore
with Hanzi characters, ever the dab hand
when the tide is out, his footprints or yours?
Old Man Nature is kind to your toes.
