The pain that M’m’selle inflicts on her toes
Twists itches in bums and bosoms of hope
Each in his own way straps on strappados

Villanelle: The Dilemma of the Non-Violent - 8

The pain that M’m’selle inflicts on her toes
Twists itches in bums and bosoms of hope
Each in his own way straps on strappados

Mascaraed serene face trots on stilettos
Embryos oblivious violent lope
The pain that M’m’selle inflicts on her toes

Paths to pleasure lead through stabbing throes
Sadistic brutes loved more than sweet husband dope
Each in his own way straps on strappados

Tigress nape stung deep in tiger-tooth jaws
Thumped fury of loins turns mother salope
The pain that M’m’selle inflicts on her toes

The sacred act of making one life’s woes
Born of the terra moto gasping breath grope
Each in his own way straps on strappados

Still the Big-Bang whistles tinnitus mementoes
Is the Universe the result of wanton rape
The pain that M’m’selle inflicts on her toes
Each in his own way straps on strappados

Once again in a short space of time, My Lord, you have commited the high treasonable crime of reading and taking the "part" for the "whole", a crime that must go down in history as Lèse Majesté, to the say the least. No doubt you have been - distracted this week by the ermine pomp and glittering Kohi-na-Noor splendeur of your fellow comrades at the opening of the House of Lords, so Your Lordship may be forgiven this time round, I guess.

Secundo, it would appear to you humble serf, that you may not have heard of the eminent Maquis de Sade, an able contortionist of the mind in bed; or maybe you have, but your bed-fellow refuses to comply to your wishes. "Oui" ou "Non" ???

In conclusion, the violence women inflict on their "SOLES/SOULS" is reflected in their mind-backing gyrations, so they say, but I cannot vouch for it, being only a confessed ascetic in this domain. Have a good day, My Friend. Wignesan

I'm not sure what this has to do with nonviolence as a way of resisting oppression.

To take a stab at it, I would say you are describing self-inflicted pain that some people need in order to be successful sexually. I never understood it, because pain is not pleasurable to me and never will be. I prefer all finesse and beauty for sex and other pleasures in life. Like I don't want to be punished for eating good food because it has a hot pepper in it that makes my mouth and tongue numb and therefore no longer able to taste the exquisite beauty of some flavor only hinted in the food.

So, I guess you're entertaining the idea that some people find violence, even to themselves, pleasurable over the boring life like normal, simple pleasures of gentle loving.

Ron
