My response to your comment on Villanelle-28 adduces Professor-Philosopher Poet Astrophysician's learned opinion on the irreversability of polar meltdowns and the devastating rising waters and temperatures to come. He even thinks the trips to Mars are a pure waste of time and money. He should know better than any one else. I may be exaggerating but I do think he's the modern-day epitome of Leonardo da Vinci-Michelangelo-Raphael-Gallileo-Einstein, and he was born the day I set foot in Paris almost half a century ago. To look at him, anyone might think - in his L.A. City Lights Books attire - that he's a Hippie.
