I was writing comments of thanks to an author who writes about her love for animals. Her writings inspired me to ask questions and write a short story and a poem about God's four legged miracles that are all around us. Where would we be without them?

God's four legged wonders are miracles I say! Someone sad will smile at the sight of a happy pet. Pets are amazing; they can surely make your day! How many depressed have been helped with a pet? All the pills in the world have not helped as much! A better cure has not been found, not ever, not yet! How many people get help from a four legged friend every day? These furry angels help both the crippled and the blind. You can search all over and not find a better way! World leaders have pets to help them wind down on the day’s end. Pets can get them down to ground level. You can search the world over and not find a better friend! So when we look for signs and wonders; we really do not need to go too far. We see them in parks, in homes and even in cars. They are like angels; they are special in every way. God's four legged miracles are all round us. Where would we be without them today? I liked the way you directed my thoughts to the many ways in which our four-legged pets are a blessing to our lives; the details- such as how world leaders are brought down to earth by them...and I like the way you reminded me that they are creations of God.

I for one would be MISERABLE!! :) I LOVE animals, especially my kitty, Jolly. She gets treated like a queen :) I usually find animals better than people, lol.
