Jerry Bolton wrote a poem about nature that helped me to write this poem.
Outdoors on a river, stream, lake or on the ocean is where I really long to be.
Even time in a swimming hole splashing around is just fine for me.
Going out on the water and watching nature do it's thing feels just right.
Those are special times that only the world that God created can bring to light.
I agree wholeheartedly with your article Outdoors On the Water, except...everyone says avoid the small minded people...Can't we tactfully, sneakily, wisely help them to broaden their horizons? I pity them!
