Ron, I'll certainly have to read more of you, especially since you say this is not the good stuff. LOL! I enjoyed this much.

Now about these people who stay when they know darn well a hurricane or cyclone's about tho hit and they've been told repeatedly to evacuate: What's up with that? ;-)

Ron, though the subject matter is entirely different, I kept thinking of Yeats' "a terrible beauty is born" about the 1916 Easter Rising. Both poems use exquisitely fascinating contradictions and both absorb the reader. It's an amazing piece that can evoke images from mere words... but, then, there's really nothing "mere" about this. It's grand and huge! katy xox.
