Oh, my, Ronald.. This is a most effective 'message poem', simply written, deeply felt.. like the fables that gently but unmistakenly teach the kind of truth we sometimes shy away from.. I love the purity of your rhymes and rhythm.. In truth, I got quite immersed. Great read! katy xox.

oh my!!! I like poetry that tells about the things in our daily lives lol...poor little bird! I had a cockateil, that did that too...broke her wing 3 times I think before i adopted her...the first 2 times she was so busy fornicating that she fell off the perch and broke it twice...then the window thing...she was a mess, her name was Pretty Girl and she was anything else but! lol my friend gave her to me,and I kept her for yrs...she was wonderful, flightless and super affectionate...got along with my lab, ferret, and hamster....laid 69 eggs in one yr when she started eating table food...lol..oh i ramble..ty for this memory...I love animals
