Nature's throwing more temper tantrums. :-)

Poem Artwork

Outside, a giant walks in the clouds.
And is he ever angry today!
Under his footsteps, the sky is bowed.
He's mad, because he didn't get his way.

He throws one heck of a hissy fit!
He hollers and we hear the thunder.
He hurls bolts of lightning in his snit.
He shreds the clouds, rips them asunder.

Screams of fury rend the Earth below.
Anger pours down in a mighty flood!
His kicks stir up several tornadoes.
He throws hailstones, they land with a thud.

His mother says, "Are you quite through now?
I think you need a little time out!
Can't get your way when you want, no how.
There ain't any use to scream and shout!"

LOL. I saw a Star Trek episode about this kid. His parents thought he was very naughty. Captain Kirk and Spock were not amused. Clever write, Karla.

Karla, Let me tell ya...I'm weary of these storms. The last ones fried my computer so from now on whether I'm leaving home or going to bed..I'll unplug the phone line before I do either! Yes...I have a surge protector...and I was using it. Those storms were vicious. I was out of a phone for over a week too.
Great write Karla! Missed you! Lisa
