... couple of hours old and the New Year feels like last, with news of violence, wars and rumors, politricks as usual ... where is the love that we're supposed to - will ya shut ya head, makin all that r a c k e t ain't doin my head a bit of good. feels like someone's gone, smacked it - this hangaround that's hangin' round.

That's a heck of a photo, Karla, and the commentary ain't bad either. I guess we're all hoping that 2008 will be a better time. Meditate on the positive vision. Best wishes.
"Blottoed"...haven't heard THAT one in years! LOL Glad you don't do that anymore; glad you had fun with your neighbor last night! I had fun last night by myself; toasted the new year in with Coke Classic! LOL Should have had the Cajun music playin'! *Grins* Very well penned; brava, Karla!
Bet there are many people who are "feeling it" today! *OW, my head!* LOL
My neighbors had a party last night that lasted until about 4:30 this morning. It was loud, so I was having a little trouble sleeping. I should have just gone over and crashed their party, enjoyed the festivities since I couldn't sleep anyway, but I just stayed in bed tossing and turning. I saw the first light and the first curtain opened about a half hour ago...I am guessing that they, too, are really feeling all that partying that brought in the New Year.
