Boy, do I remember what it was like when Mom got mad. You never knew when it was ok to be a 'kid' again. Much truth in this one as I recall the days from my childhood.

Very cute write indeed. Hmmmmmmm, I just had a thought however. Seems to me that before we ever settled this land, our Native American brothers called these storms "devil winds." They never blamed the Great Spirit in the sky for their misfortune. Matter of fact it was the Shawnee Indians of Ohio that called their land "the place of the devil wind" or "the land of the crazy winds" depending on the translation you use. Either way, still a great write my friend. Just don't like seeing Mama get blamed for what is really the devil's doing. God bless and keep one eye open for the devil winds.
