hahahaha, you are very humorous, but the anticipation is just the begining, then the bang--which may linger if things are done right--and then the aftermath, which is also beautiful and leading to another aniticipation........

An atomic bomb is just, one big bang too. However with sex, it is one big bang preceded with unbelievable anticipation, ooooohs and ahhhhs and body twisting gyrations you'll not experience anywhere else. Not even in an atomic explosion. There now, does that put it back into the proper perspective? I can picture the actor Slim Pickens riding the bomb to earth waving his cowboy hat and hollering yahoooo,in the movie, Dr, StrangeLove. I'll bet his big bang was not nearly as good as the big bang of sex. This is a terrific poem and message in three expertly chosen lines. May pace be always with you. JMW

Ah yes ... but if it's done with passion, and tenderness, and more concern for the others feelings than ones own, there is an afterglow that will last for hours. Nothing wrong with opening up those doors in the heart that we keep closed and exploring the feelings. A writer must be multi-faceted. With taste that is. I like this. Blessings ...
