There is an e-mail going around picturing Marines in Iraq sleeping in their fox hooles in the middle of a sand storm. Guess our beds are soft enough.

At least it is not your spine that broke! Oh...the things we have to do for a good night's sleep. I have a good mattress, but it is the temperature that gets to me. sigh... too hot...too cold...and I have this annoying habit of sticking my foot outside the blankets. I inherited the trait from my mother, and while it makes me think of her...I don't appreciate waking up with a cold foot so frequently during the night! hee, hee...

Oh how I can relate...my hubby likes the stiff mattresses, I like the soft, I constantly feel like I'm playing musical beds, as I find myself leaving the slab and sleeping with my daughter! I need one of those half and half adjustable beds! Shoot, I'll take it used, anything for a good nights sleep! We do what we have to, right?

My hubby and I have a good mattress, we don't need any box spring. Have not had one in years. I prefer just a good mattress is enough for a good sleep.

Sorry to learn that the box was broken; I hope the "new" one will give you some comforts!!!

I've not got a box spring either as most motorhomes have like a storage box underneath, but I have a relatively new mattress which makes sleeping so sleep inducing...hope you sleep well tonight and all nights in future...Ed
