Greater love hath no man than this, that a
man lay down his life for his friends.

Consider:  he loved us from the beginning.
He would have done this for even one.
 
He knew me; he knew my weaknesses, my
failures.  And yet, he was willing.

The Son took my sins, my shortcomings,
and carried them on his bloody back.

He was innocent.  He did nothing wrong.
He was perfect.  He was blameless.

And yet, he was nailed to a tree in my place.
Greater love hath no man than this ...

He looked at the Heavens and cried, my
God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And he died.  Lonely.  Broken.  While the
Heavens were silent, Hell celebrated.

They thought they had won.  Then came the
third day.  The stone was rolled away!

He had risen, just like he had said he would!
Death and the grave couldn't hold him!

He is who he said he is!  King of kings!  Lord
of lords!  The resurrection, and the life!

He lives!  He lives!  Praise God, my Savior lives!
