Spot on!!! Poem's great; weather not-so-much. So sorry your power went out. Ray and I spend a lot of time holding our breath. Finally forked for a generator, but we're hoping not to have to use it. Can't believe we had 5-6 inches of snow and the power held. Living out from town the way we do, there are more outages.

Don't ask. The Texas rain is something else. Each rain drop contains a bucket full of water. As for the thunder, I thought it was hollywood make believe that thunder and lightning happen simultaneously.

i very much suffer from SAD... SAD is how i am when there's not a glimpse of sun in the sky - whatever the time of year. And SAD is how i've been down here in Dorset, mostly, over this super-wet-cold-and-windy winter. But this melange of weather can only mean one thing to me... SPRING is nearly here! :)) We live in hope and can maybe even get even with The Big Weather Man In The Sky by turning out in our latest thermal bikini and solar-panelled raincoat! Karla, I know the weather there is serious, but I couldn't help laughing at your cute poem. "Poof! No power." Haven't we all experienced that. I can live with it in the daytime, but at night I can never find enough candles. I like your "Seasonal Affective Disorder."
