The Hunter’s Moon – like the Harvest Moon – is famous for ushering in dusk-till-dawn moonlight for several nights in a row. At mid and far northern latitudes, the lamp of the Hunter’s Moon helps to compensate for the waning October daylight. And so nature provides a balance, for us.

Full Moon In Aries, Hunter's Moon (10/12/11) by Amber "V" Moonstone 10/12/11 Aries, the Ram, fire sign, brings us high energy warmth, vision and intuition. During the next three days, a perfect time to reach out for, courage, confidence and strength. Like that of our ancient dwellers, it is the time for the final harvest, time to prepare for the long winter season. In our lives today, we don't actually hunt, but we do need to store up extra energy. Take in the moonbeams from this Full Moon, let it give you the strength and courage to make a difference in your life. Allow yourself to feel it's energy, knowing that warmth and vision will fill your soul. The brightness of it's power, can sustain your strength to begin a new phase of your life. Have the courage to tell someone that you care or love them, Feel the warmth of that acknowledgement. Beautifully captured Amber, a couple of weeks ago I went to an annual festival here in IN called "Feast of the Hunter's Moon" with the whole Indian theme and fabulous food made over open fires by teepee's.
