 Harvest Moon in September

by Amber "V" Moonstone
9/18/13

Nature's evening light,
brings us our Harvest Moon,
shining so brightly like a torch in the night.

This moon was a life saving light,
for farmers and Native Americans,
during their time of the fall Harvest.

Seeking light beyond sunset,
was welcomed with upmost respect
for Mother Nature.

Today, viewing this most brilliant moonlight,
gave me a sense of peaceful calming energy,
sending me into a state of well being.

Taking time to really absorb this Harvest Moon,
gave me strength and energy to finish another day,
and embrace the evening's tranquility.

If you are feeling tired and run down,
this full moon will energize and excite you.
Stand firm beneath it's stunning rays.

Let the moonbeams fill your heart
with the seeds to harvest your dreams,
and fill your mind with the ability to transform your life.

Take this energy and keep it within,
so that you can reap the benefits
of the majestic power it posesses.

I am a moon child being born in July and it seems I am most sensitive to my surroundings when the full moon blooms and looms large

Thank you for reminding us of the power of the moon. The moon is part of our being, part of our life cycle, deeply embedded in the menstrual cycle and other cycles of our lives. The harvest moon is especially important because it is a time when we are working hard to brace against the coming winter and find a well lit night to our benefit––to our energy.

Nature has it's own miracles. Energies have both positive and negative applications, some hearts open and some hearts close. Many things change a life, but none more than the person themselves. Your work is always a positive view.

Stay well and keep writing
