The rape of nature continues----
its mute creatures do rue
their existence with man
as his greed he fans
killing and murdering
in his lust for money floundering
deaf to the silent pleas ---of gathering dark
of all others beings in Noah's arc.
till Nature awakens from her slumbering
and lashes back in fury at mans' blundering
----and then we wonder why-----
by nature's wrath man does die??????

your words force me to look as, like many others, i find that even gaze upon such pictures makes me sick to my stomach and desire to turn away with the pain. Beautiful words that strike a chord in all our heavy hearts, Christine, and wish that we could grieve away the damage - or at least give expression to our humble apology. this oil spewing out is so horrible
I can hardly bare to see this photo
it grieves me so much
we are such horrendous beings we are-Not All Of Us
but the devastation of this oil is larger than
anyone can imagine.
They made over 89 Billion dollars
and only so far they estimate 69 million will
begin the fix & restorations & clean up cost
will accrue.
I don;t understand why they can't just shut it off
to seal it up...
Besides that...whose bright idea was it back in the day
to drill oil out in the ocean? Money & Greed see Money & Greed

The animals that live in the sea are being murdered by BP, one of the oil giants. But BP is not the only one at fault here. All of the oil companies are drilling under water roo.

Everyone is upset about the wildlife, and I am too, but no one seems to be all that concerned about the men that died and the lives which are going to be ruined because of the damage to the shrimp, et al. To show you how unconcerned people are about those who died, the president of BP made the stupidest, most unconcerned statement of all time when he said he'd be glad when this was all over so he could "get his life back." Thanks to his friggin' company and their lackadaisical safety record which caused this blowout, eleven men will never get their lives back.

Christine, I cannot bare the thought that all these sea creatures are being destroyed by that horrid oil spill..This is devastation at it's worst...We have no idea how much this is doing to the ecology of the ocean...I have not been able to look at pictures like this, it breaks my heart so much..

As far as I am concerned, our government has not done enough to stop this leak..It is an outrage and another reason why we have to find alternate fuel sources. (don't want to get me going on this that's for sure)
