Which way do I go...someone tell me ~
Right or left ~ which will it be?
Right is home..but God, I dont want to go~
If I go left no one will ever know...
My wife is remodeling the kitchen again~
She hasn't touched me in I don't know when.
Why should I go home where its so ice cold~
When Cheryl is willing and so warm to hold.
Right or left ~ the choice is killing me~
Horrors at home that no one can see.
Nothing at home ~ its all been said~
No life there ...Our love is dead.
Cheryl has offered me a warm body tonite~
Someone to hold...but I know its not right.
Temptation is great...and my need is strong~
I can't deny my feelings...its been so long.
A sip of cold coffee from my trembling hand~
Consumed by the needs of a drowning man.
A sweet , warm kiss sounds better to me ~
Than an ice cold hello could ever be.
Right or left ~ would it be so wrong~
To hold a loving woman all night long?
Smell her scent as I kiss her tenderly~
I've forgotten just how sweet love can be.

Another sad commentary to how so many think. And how sad that a marriage can reach the point where one has to look outside for love and warmth.. You have truly captured this well. Kudo's to you.
