There are four cardinal directions

There are four cardinal directions to

give us guidance and corrections…

interestingly are named for a bird -

with winged delight in the days and in the nights-

the flight of the Spirit, in a good way, is assured.

Yet inner directions as well,

with ancient wisdoms each tell:

of the Mother and her waters,

sacred species the Mother’s sons and daughters.

Sacred Sites with Sacred Rites,

Sacred Spaces, and Sacred Stories

that bring us ancient delights.

Let us always and forever

remember these four -

Directions within, and without…

reciprocal resources that heal and mend.

Remember, because in the end… the

inside and the outside? They blend!

Wholeness is what they send!
