Listen to the media elitests and the political snobs as they seek to smear the image of the indivicuals who are beginning to flex the power of The Internet because the old civilization is beginning to crumble. It's happening sooner than I predicted in Apocalypse Survival Guide (2002).
I thought it would be 2009 before the movers and shakers of the old way of doing things would notice the new way creeping into their lives.
These are the descendants of people who said "If God
wanted men to fly He would have given them feathers,"
"Ozone caused by the sparks of radio transmitters and
receivers will destroy our lungs," "trains that go
faster than 30 miles per hour will suck the air out
of your lungs," "talking pictures are a passing fad,"
"who in the world would spend money on a television
set?" "airplanes will never exceed the speed of sound,"
"an atom can never be split," and -- until 2002,
"nothing travels faster than the speed of light."
I have no idea who or where you are!
If you are a radical Islamic terrorist in the Middle East, or a Christian racist terrorist in a white robe in The United States, or a sadistic gangster sicko terrorist shooting people for the fun of it in the slums of a big city, you can be reading this now -- and I hope you will try to open your mind a little.

Provided humans don't destroy The Internet, we have at our fingertips the greatest opportunity in history to share our personal interests, needs and desires -- and to help each other achieve them!
We don't need parents, peers, professors, preachers and
politicians telling us what to do and how to do it just
because "that's the way it has always been!"
Of course we need to socialize, to have fun, to enjoy
each other -- but we can do that without governmental
or religious supervision and control.
Thanks to The Internet, children all over the world can
receive an excellent education free from exposure to the political and religious bias of teachers. The information is presented in easy and enjoyable digital audio/visual programs downloadable to your own computer.
Anybody with a computer and a telephone connection can
read what I am writing here! Pretend that this is a
lesson in history. This becomes your textbook. Where is the teacher, the classroom, the rollcall, the final examination? I could even show illustrations to get my point across! Can you do that in the average high-school?
During the early days of the war in Afghanistan a
reporter on television was asked by a group of young
soldiers (about 15 years old) about the location of
the United States. He took out a pad and drew a circle
to represent the globe, marked two spots on opposite
sides: one representing Afghanistan, the other The
United States. The soldiers were amazed, not at the
distance of separation, but by the fact that the
earth is round!
With this level of education those soldiers and others like them are now voters in a new democracy. They decide their nation's destiny without knowing where they are in relationship with the rest of the world!
The greatest challenge facing us is letting the world
know that ALL PEOPLE WANT PEACE AND FREEDOM. And that
it is greedy people with power who keep us from having
it.
When the time is right, there will be no great upheaval -- no revolution or civil war -- when enough people realize that they now have the means to world peace there will be a critical mass of humanity and suddenly the paradigm shift to a new civilization will emerge worldwide.
Spawned by The Internet, it will be a CYBER-CIVILIZATION!
