Jared Dianond in his book, "Guns, Germs, And Steel" argues that the 1st countries that were able to domestic animals and use medals were able to conquer those who relied on hunting and fishing. He also stated that the domestication of animals and the cramped living conditions in Europe and America contributed to the great epidemics of by-gone years. He also claims that in the process of colonialization that far more victims died from diseases that they took with them, than from the native diseases of their subjects.
