Learning Disabilities In Children And Adults 3/8/2008 10:21:49 AM
We Are Not Hopeless. I have a learning disability. Yet. I often made A's in high school history and have authored a book entitled, "I Thought I would Never Make It Through The 4th Grade".
Needless to say , I was the curiosity of my family, my teachers and the county nurse During the first six years of my educational career it looked as if I was doomed to fail every year. Thank goodness, this did not happen.
The truth is that I never considered my self dumb. I even had a bit of a superior complex. By the time I was ten years old I had memorized almost the entire 12th chapture of Romans. I loved both the phraseology and the powerful message. More to follow on this subject.
