With such a High Energy Level of Hope, can we endure the same High Level of tests and trials and tribulations? Happy New Year! As we seek a Higher Vision for ourselves, our nation and our world give us the strength to endure.
There is much work to do with wisdom, maturity, strength and humility. I am working to keep focused on the tasks at hand and not get swept away in a celebration before its time.
I am concerned as I hear people speak of Hope, yet when confronted with personal realities are quick to say what they won’t do.
This generation and the ones to come will judge us very harshly not based on what our leaders do. Based on what we the people do not do.
We have not reached the promise land yet. We still have much more journeying to do.
My focus moving forward, to hear beyond the noise.
Sustainability is the work of this century. To undo bad habits is tough. It means a total overhaul of a lifestyle. I am looking within to overhaul greed, selfishness, narrow mindedness, anger, hurt and resentment.
I still hear the warnings of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that the media does not publish. They were stern warnings echoed in times before by many wise leaders of a people confronted with the decimation of their way of life to make way for a new world.
Being a world leading nation requires much more this century. I hesitate to say, but I am concerned. Do I have the wisdom, maturity, strength and humility to endure the coming journey?
Is this a question others are asking themselves? Life is a flow of energy. What follows extremely high levels of Hope and Joy is the tests that challenge in order to truly define Hope.
We are only at the beginning of this historic time. We have yet to face the desert, the pain, the darkness, the trials and tribulations. Can we carry Hope and Love when there is no light? If we can’t do it in our personal lives individually, how can we do it collectively as a nation?
Those who will judge us and examine this historic time have not been born. Our journey has just begun in this new century and new millennium.
