Just my thoughts at the end of the day. Wrestling with how to handle the urgent issue before me. Today was a difficult day. Time is running out and I don't see how to meet the current challenge. It is important to keep pushing forward but today I am a bit discouraged and feel the weight is on my shoulders completely.
This may be narrowed minded of me. I don't know the whole picture and what the leadership of the organization may be doing. I just can't ignore my pessimism today.
True leadership occurs during times of trouble and crisis. The mental exercise of leadership is much easier than the reality during difficult times. Though there are times when leadership is difficult and lonely.
We've come so far in such a short time. What will it take to solve the current urgent issue so we can keep moving forward? How do we get people to contribute? What does it take for people to actively support an organization working with children? We need not just foundations, corporations and government, but individuals to pick up where government can't contribute. We need to increase revenue, enrollment, contributions and activity.
Help me to see the solution and move past my discouragement. This is a huge test of the Secret. Shift my mental and emotional energies, acknowledge the solution exists.
