Well the trip to go and get Tucker was really fun.  Now he is home with us.  He is three times the size of our Boston Terrier.  He only weighs 34.6, but he is so long.  It has been almost 1 week and a half since he arrived.  He loves his new home and is so sweet. 

You have to really be a dog lover to put up with some of these dog behaviors.  Tucker is not fixed yet, but will be soon.  Scout is a neutered male of 2 years old.  Tucker is about 8 months old and a little oversexed for a dog.  When he first come into the house of course a dog has to leave his mark on anything he can.  I followed him all over the house cleaning up after him, and finally he has stopped most of that.  He even walked up to Scout and sniffed him, lifted his leg and marked him.  I scooped him up and cleaned him up.

I have explained  to  them that unless they learn some very important lessons on manners they will be banned from the holidays out with the family, because that is not the kind of thing you want happening at your parties.  I get up in the morning and go through all of the rules that they must learn. No licking, No sniffing and No other bad behavior if they want to spend Christmas out here with us.  I think they are slowly getting it.
