Life Lessons For Little Ones

Today I had another doctors appointment. My doctor had gotten the report back and it seems that this time I have another kind of cancer. It is an invasive kind and depending if it is in the lymph nodes could be life threatening. I go in again on Tuesday at 6:30A.M. for more surgery, and to see if it is in the nodes or not.
I really hate that my Thanksgiving party that I am having tomorrow may have a cloud over it. My son and I were talking and I told him that I have always been at doctors for wierd things and that I have psyched myself up all from the age of seven for this. He said, "So you have lived your life in preparation for this", and I suppose I have. I never really thought about it like that.
I am not scared or worryed about this at all. I am perfectly happy no matter how it turns out. Happy Thanksgiving early and until after my party - Lori
