Life Lessons For Little Ones 5/21/2010 6:19:02 PM
Well I finally got done with radiation last Wed. and that night our little Scout hurt himself and could not even lay down. These Boston Terriers are not a kind of dog you can keep still if they get hurt. I would wake up during the night and be so excited not to have to go to the hospital the next day, and then I would think but I have to go to the vet and have Scout put to sleep. He plays so hard every day that there would be no way of keeping him still.
I have always loved animals and especially dogs. I came home and read the paper and someone had puppies that were half German Shepherd/Golden Retriever. I don't want you to ever think that I could go out and replace any of my dogs, because there is no way to ever replace them. I feel like I was just born to take care of the animals in our world. If I have to have one of my sweet dogs put to sleep then I can at least give a good home to another dog. That is one less minute in the shelter one has to stay or wonder if anyone cares enough to give it a home and a family to love it and spoil it silly.
So now we have Chloe. She is so blonde. She is also sweet and lively. It has been a busy week. Now all that I have to do is wait for hair. I worry about the other people left, but can only pray for them now. I am ending this blog for now. Lori
