About a year ago I heard the HOLY SPIRIT say cast down spirits of sabotage and confusion.

Consistently then I affirm and proclaim, "Cast down every stronghold and every vain imagination that would EXALT itself above the knowledge of GOD.  Bringing every thought to the captive obedience of Jesus Christ

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5.

The phrase 'captive obedience" Is so important.

When we think of the word captive the idea of being held held in bondage can seem offensive.

  But the phrase used in this biblical context reminds us of JESUS wrapped in flesh yet God. In humanity  HE was responsive and yielded to GOD MOST HIGH knowing His purpose always seeking and confirming the divine ordered steps.

Jesus shows us how to overcome the thoughts,and we all have them,that are inappropriate,prideful,vain,violent and evil.  He always answered the enemy ,countering temptation with "It is written.". In the Garden of Gethsemane we are shown that we cannot always depend on others. We must pray persistently be honest about thoughts that may come but not allow them to take up residence where we pay the cost for  allowing them to stay.  We MUST press through as Jesus did and conclude then wholeheartedly procaim to GOD,"Not my will butTHY will be done."

I hear "IT IS NOT BY POWER NOR BY MIGHT BUT BY MY SPIRIT SAYS THE LORD."

Important to note that it is written my people perish for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6
