for the one I love
I felt like I wanted to die Turned east got on my knees and prayed As I was loved and rescued by Someone who cared and death delayed Who snatched me out of my despair For although to my heart unknown I was not have not been alone
One heart is with me everywhere There is someone who cares for me Two hearts united in one prayer One promise for eternity Together here together there To live to love to always be In faithful solidarity

your mind heart and soul leave me speechless..incredible work!
I can so relate to this, and the kind of spirituality and mystical experience that you express so tenderly in your Biography, Steven. My reality is found in the person of Jesus Christ who I believe to make the whole of existance on every plane of moment by moment significance for all people and for all time. Whatever, whoever, we name our "Someone" to be, like you I find their presence in my life not just a convenient "add-on" but the undergirding Truth of the reason for being. This poem is like being swaddled in the most delightful cacoon of well-being: safe and secure. I like this both on a human and a metaphysical level.
