Burden too heavy to bear,
As icy winds whistle through barren trees,
clenching thin scraps of what remains...
of dying earth.
Eyes filled with hate, wished for it, as
wretched tongues disposed of hope.
Sunlight hidden in thoughts,
was buried far beneath once towering
stones, that shone brightly in a dark
universe.
Fire consumed what was left...
Now gone, with their makers,
in that same dark universe.
