I was taking a morning walk one day just as the sun was coming up and the moon was going down. I got to thinking about the way the two firmaments operated and really how they did their jobs. Those work habits are often different.
The sun has a schedule,
The moon works in shifts.
The sun comes up early in the morning,
The moon clocks in whenever it has to,
sometimes in the morning,
sometimes in the evening.
When it's hot,
the sun goes high in the air
and works a long, hard day.
In the winter, it goes to work
for half a day,
then gets busier bit by bit.
A bit of the moon sticks its
face out, a little at a time
and when it's full, it lights up
everything like a giant street light.
Then it goes down in a huge orange ball
while the sun comes up.

A very interesting and poem of thought and observance.
This is wonderful.
The moon clocks in whenever it has to.
I've never thought about that before! So True!
Thanks so very much.(c:)
I truly love it!

I like those times when the sun and moon are present like that.
