Enough of the stinkin' endorsements already.

“Fore” times three equals twelve

That’s out of bounds times a dozen

When the balls stray far from the fairway

The tabloids will all begin buzzin’

I really have never liked Gatorade

The fancy watch I can scarcely afford

I once owned a P.O.S Buick

Now I drive a 4WD Ford

I have never read the Golf Digest

I don’t own any products by Nike

I don’t drink any Japanese beer

But my internet is AT &T

I never have used the American Express

With Accenture I was never involved

When its bastard stepchild Enron

Took a dump and a crisis evolved

I do eat some General Mills Cereals

But none with the face on the box

Of the athletes they typically glorify

They’re usually over-paid jocks.

My advice to the Athlete’s sponsors is simple

Save your money and lower your prices

Nobody cares who is shilling your products

Especially those with no vices

Bravo Patrick! You speak for me too!

You know Patrick, if an accountant could just cap the salaries, remove the endorsements and get rid of sports commentators and beer, therein lie the elements of a full-fledged American Revolution complete with martial law. Cool write, and you're right!

False idols. People enjoy worshipping bobble-heads. Just look at Yahoo top ten searches on any given day and you'll know why we're in so much trouble. Creative piece...take care.

I just sent you a message about not seeing posts from you for awhile and here one is. Disregard the message! Witty and perceptive this. Japanese beer is revolting! Hope all is well ...
