What will they think of next. Playboy is doing a 3-D issue. Might be a best seller....Double D in 3-D...my goodness.

I noted today some most interesting news

And please don’t think of me as perverted

Hugh Hefner decided that it’s now time to print

His magazine in a format converted

Blessed be the day I’m happy to say

Though I haven’t perused one in some time

A centerfold no doubt that literally stands out

To capture a man’s imagination sublime

The glasses create trouble for the American male

Former grains of truth now dissolved particles

The print won’t be readable and we can no longer say

Not looking at pictures just reading the articles

I've got my copy, but I'm mired in the Jan/Feb [cheapskate Heftner!] short story and have March, April, and May before I have to put on those damn glasses--don't need glasses to read or look at made-up and airbrushed beauties.

I NEVER read the articles, but saved as many pictures as I could as a kid...then my mom changed my sheets once and boy did we ever have a bonfire in out back yard...I told her it was sensorship, she said at least become 10 before you look at these pictures...

Patrick, although I gave Playboy up a whole bunch of years ago, I can see poor Hugh's problem with explicit nudity in all media's now-a-days. So what's a guy supposed to do. 3-D magazines? I don't think it'll help poor Hugh.

:D :D ":DD" [Last'un stands for Double D ;)]

Fun poem!! Personally, I read Playboy mostly for the interviews. But then I'm a woman, ain' I. Three-D, Schthree-D !!

My husband is of a somewhat different opinion. More D's the better.;)

I love Esquire! All those gawjus men [so the ones in most of the ads are gay; still purdy}, and the writing is beyond wonderful Honest and quirky and thought-provoking. Playboy, it seems to me, has lost ground re writing. Mostly cartoony graphics. (Prob'ly figure men aren't readin' anyway?}

Far as aging eyes go, Ray & I have reading glasses up the wazoo. STILL can't find. . . <sigh> <gasp> <choke>

Happy Oglin' !

This is getting downright personal, touchy stuff Patrick.
