Desperate poets sometimes do disparate things and vice versa.

Poem Artwork

I went to the topless beach in search of a ten

But I only metaphor

I went to a climate rally where Allegory was speaking about global warming but all I heard was blank verse.

I went to the natural science museum today to look at dinosaurs. They had a cool Ptero-Dactyl on display.

I tried to get into a dance the other night by myself but they wouldn’t let me in because it was couplets only.

I hired a parolee secretary to take shorthand. She’s really good at ex-connotation.

My wife says I’m so predictable I must have irony poor blood.

She really fills out that bikini with her fabulous parodies.

California has the highest syntax for beer and cigarettes in the nation.

What about the newspaper editor who had to be hospitalized for ad-diction?

I'm convinced that you are much more likely to see someone in a bikini with the fabulous "parodies" out there than you will almost anywhere else. I’m just wondering, are you sure that the “parodies” in that bikini aren’t pre “dict” able’s?

I really hesitate to sign my name after that, Dict

You must have read my Bermuda shorts. I guess we all, from time to time, resort to puns just trying to be punny.

Groucho Marx Notre Dame once, but he couldn't get to first base.

Stupid me couldn't figure out the pterodactyl one.

Pat, you really gave me some good chuckles on this one. Maybe I could add one about the picky bum that got arrested for messy alliterations. Give me a little license on the double/single consonants in the wrong place(l's and r's).
