Looking through a window as snow falls.

*So the snow is falling* *like fine white dust* *covering the ground* *hiding the grass.* *resting on the arms* *of naked trees* *holding itself* *to dead dried leaves.* *Birds looked confused* *as they search for food* *pidgeons look tired* *pecking everywhere,* *Good day winter snow* *falling so fast* *white up above* *now white below.*

Since I moved to Phoenix 18 years ago I have not seen any snow flakes. I do not miss it because I remember how difficult it was to drive through when I lived in NYC. But it is a pretty sight when it is coming down. You captured it all John in your great poem.
