Indeed, there is a reason why this nation is Blessed in spite of its many faults and errors...I believe that the answer lies in the spiritual insight of our forefathers. For down through the ages, betwixt and between the wordings of established mandates that are the Domocratic foundation of this great nation, you will find 'God'. 'He' was there in the beginning and, only because of His Marvelous Mercy and Grace... He will continue to be with us until the end. I am most grateful, amen.
Our personal civil rights are slowly being taken away. It is my hope that a poem such as this, will reawaken the true American spirit. We must always remember this country is found on a simple phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST". Let's start doing that. I hope this lovely poem reaches many people. It is a wake up call.
