A SOUL'S TEARS

Have you ever had an emotional 'blow'...that numbed you? When it first happens you are 'livid'...then...nothing. Just this great big 'void' and you wonder when will your 'normal' feelings return? That's how I feel...I can't cry...I can't laugh...I'm carrying this 'agony' inside of me...my soul is weeping. But I know I am going to be alright. You see...My Friend, Jesus, 'He' is here and 'He' will take me through...'He' always does...'He' has never failed me. I trust 'Him'...He and I will come through this.
I ask all of you that know the Power of Prayer...to please pray for my son, Asa...and me.

Poem Artwork

Anger gives way to anguish...like the dredge of death...constricting...bones and muscles

Stabbing...cutting, ripping away at complacency

Ostracizing emotional stability...fiercely attacking hope

Unleashing bitter waters...spewing into worn...tried vessels

Leverage sags under 'weight' of disintegrating equilibrium

Slothful is the hammering of 'dry'...caustic nails...that rip the flesh

Trenching the fibers of the spirit ...deep...  wringing...pitilessly

Etching the heart with the reality of untempered agony

Aches...untouchable...pulsates through the body

Ramming the senses with blunt force...  screaming...silent...pain

Searing psyche peace...burning its place of rest...until...nothing is left

Psalm 42

I share your tears and pain Joyce. The Lord has pulled us out of some rough times and he will surely get you and Asa through this. You know where to reach me if there is anything I can do to help. My prayers are with you both. May God bless you every day of your life.

This is perhaps one of the most heartwrenching pieces of poetry I've ever read...your phrasing describes such deep pain. There's no greater pain for a mother than to know her child is suffering, be it physical or emotional troubles! I pray you keep strong in your faith, Joyce.....He will pull you through.

Blessings,
Anna

Wow! powerful. I too am sorry for your pain. I hold you and Asa in my heart and in my prayers.

This title The Soul's Tears is what I feel on occasion when I feel I want to cry but can't.

A poem of such intensity! Blinding disappointments, inestimable pain.
Joyce I am so profoundly sorry for whatever you are going through ~ I will pray for you and you must hold on as whatever is happening passes, as you allow yourself to react however you need but hold onto hope and faith that it will get better.
Blessings,
Christine
