Your eyes still close
Between heaven and now
Sunrising, out of sight
Sweet chirping songs
Penetrating your dreams.
~~*~~

As you awaken
To a bright morning's
New day
Hoping, once your eyes open
You'll stay.
~~*~~

The songs they sing
within your mind today
Until you're awaken
serve their purpose.
~~*~~

Now it's up to you
To start a new day
What beautiful birds
What a beautiful way
Listen to what they say.

Yes, well put. I wake up to the cheerful sounds of birds chirping and singing every morning. It is a great way to start the day.
