Yesterday,
I walked out my door
Looked at the tree
That resides, outside my house
It was a cold clear day
It's branches were bare
Leaves, dried and long gone
Yet he still stands.
Today
I saw him
From
a different point of view
It's a foggy day
Mountain morning dew
The scene before me
Was like a fairy tale
Foggy mist
lake water still, like glass.
A deep silence
Dew drops covered
The tree branches and limbs
Like sparkling diamonds
Exposed in a field
Braches fattening
With ripen buds
Savoring each and every
Dew drop.
Tomorrow
Well I don't know
I pray today, I will bear
Happier moments
Of cause, I am unable
To assure, any predictions
I am not divine, nor a seer.
Oh! how I envy, your strenght
So strong and deep rooted
Your arms eternally
Reaching towards the Maker.
God, will care for you
As you bear the fruits
That feeds critters
and the fowls of the heavens
That neither sow nor reap.
William..Trees are majestic. They are truly one of my favorite subjects..there is something about them that feed me inspiration.
