Daisy

I still remember
The Daisy
I saw in the yesterday
Of my memories.

Glowing under the sun
Like a Nova
In the Vacuum
Of the dark heavens.

No longer will
The morning dew mositen
Her honey suckle taste.

Parched petals
Withering
The bitter sweetness
Of decaying beauty.

The birds and the bees
Will carry tradition
For the next chapter
To the on going seeds.

Where floral beauty reigns
Babies smile, birds sing
The Daisy is reborn
Living to dream again.

I remember being in a forest high up in Germany, thinking much the same. And always thought how many things of beauty no-one gets to see..

Even after travelling, I come home realising how much beauty there is right outside my windows.

What we enjoy today are our future memories.
