An Entity I Possess

~*~

She woke to the dawn

Of an oncoming

Beautiful Morning

Her sleek marvelous Body

A true model of nature

Wearing her natural makeup

A lovely purplish shades of Blue

With pride

Her head she held up high

Her golden wings spread

Pointing to the heavens above

Teasing the world before her

With the heavenliness

Of its magnificence..

~*~

I saw him in flight

As he approached

Following the scent

Of her perfume

That filled the air

With alluring sensuousness

He felt every inch of her body

With a passionate hunger.

~*~

He succulently

Savored the sweetness

Of her secreting nectar

Greedily

How dare he continued

His passionate behavior

As I stood there

Staring enviously at awe

How could he continued

as if I were not there

She was the pride and joy

Of my Garden

My Beautiful Bird of Paradise.

~*~

He too was a handsome entity

In my and nature’s eyes

After having his fill

Of the succulent juices

Of her life

He took flight

Leaving me standing there

Envious of his actions

I followed him

In his flight

Until I was unable to see

Within my sight

That equally beautiful

Brown Wasp.

I never knew that nature could be so erotic and sensual. But thanks to you, William, now I know! Fantastic tale with a sweet surprising ending.

Don't let Brother Georg give you a hard time, D'Artagnan! Any man who can appreciate the merits of an Armadillo and a Wasp, is all right by me!

I love it William as what is more beautiful than Nature itself. Thank you for sharing.

Very unique, William. I love the sensual feel to this, with the voyeur sense along the way. You make this natural event seem like a secret romance. Way to imagine!

D'Artagnan you are not playing a fair game here, I was expecting Amber around there and went back a couple of times searching for the credits but there wasn't one, so I continued to read and wham! you zap me with an incredible story from your garden.
I hope that wasp returns and stick you know where!
A great poem.
