an unexpected sight 0ne in a million
action caught in my patio

Nature's True Love

I saw him scurrying
From one plant trolley
To another
Carrying what I thought
Was a smaller lizard
Was it prey?

I slowly approached
The trolley he hid behind
Then I saw
The true light.

He held her
Ever so firmly
In a most passionate
Embrace
Her expression
Was benign as if
She had no worries.

His expression
Was one of pure
Nature love
That even I
Was able to read
In silent words
"don't move my sweet
Love"
it's almost over.

With a soft sigh
His grasp was ease
She slowly crawled
Away from under him
as if nothing
Had ever occurred.

He remained behind
with an air of arragance
and a feeling of
Triumph.
