The human vortex is a powerful thing. The vortex of nature is another mystery that is a wonderful phenomenan as well. Your poem is a tremendous asset to this rotating mystery. I always admire your verse.

I am a great fan of extreme weather, though revere and awe might put it more clearly, I do adore a grand electric storm! I I saw only once in Texas sheet lightning, I was mesmerized!

i've been in three...last one, lost my roof...and there i am, hiding in a teenytiny, claustrophobic-sized half bath (the only centrally located downstairs room i have) going, "i wish i had a baaaasement..." any wonder why i'm a storm phobic? excellent, descriptive *chilling* write about an evil force of nature...(((HUGS))) and do you have a basement? if so, i'm comin' over! :) love, karla. :)

i have seen funnels on several occasions, but have never seen a full-fledged tornado (and i don't care to, especially since i live in tornado alley, in texas! and no basements to speak of! YIPE!! :0)! great write about an awesome force of nature! love, your friend in texas, karen lynn. (((HUGS))) my sister's been in three of them; the last one took her roof off! she does NOT like storms, and i am not too fond of 'em myself! :)
