Let's have a look at the other side of US air attacks in south Somalia, near the Kenyan Border.
There is mess in everywhere
There is hunger and disease
There are escalating deaths
Internal conflicts are rife
But all were brushed aside
Air strikes robbed attention
In all streets of the town
At bars and meeting points
The talk is centred on attacks
Where are the rights defenders
Why can't they make a single shout
to shed light on humanitarian crisis
To save children dying from starvation
Getting the food to the people has always been a major problem in Somalia and other African countries. I have read articles from groups like UNICEF and the Red Cross who say getting the vaccines and food to the people and getting past the leaders is next to impossible. Terrorism exists in Africa because it can and it has for a very long time. I don't think that food getting to the people or not getting to the people has changed that a bit, so I suspect that the issues are dealt with separately as opposed to being addressed as a whole. None the less, bombers in your country are certainly reason for alarm and to fear for the lives of all, including the starving children.
