A bird not only knows how to build
But also knows how to protect its nest
We have gone far lower than the bird
For we are destroying our house: Earth
Mother Earth can sustain life without us
But without Mother Earth we canīt live
We can pollute the air at great ease
But canīt reduce a rising wave by one inch
We can cut trees to cause deforestation
But we canīt stop drought to sweep over
We sharpen our tools to kill Mother earth
When we canīt reverse the negative outcome
Without love of nature there will be no life
And without a speck of humanity on earth
There will be no human beings on earth
No other creatures shall remain behind
Is man a curse that had descended on earth
Or a blessing that had brought light to Mother Earth?
I will just ask, where that bird is going to land if everything is under water or burning down to cinders?

Your poem makes it evident your heart is into this thing. I am holding my opinion in abayeance until all of the true scientific facts are released. More than 19,000 scientist and geologist disagree with the premise being touted by some not in the scientific community. There are immense amount of money in play and at stake. How so very true, and as I look around and see what we human beings are doing to her today, we truly could be her worst nightmare, and the worst curse She had ever imagined.
We human beings now number over 6 billion, and by 2050, many now predict we will number well over 9 billion. If Mother Earth is still alive by then, we will be like the dreaded biblical locusts, devouring every last shred of Her that we can possibly find.
God Help Our Mother Earth.
