For me Autumn is the onset of a long gloomy season. It invites winter to take over which normally suffocates my muse.
In the hungry jaws of autumn Summer is being swallowed in It is waving good bye to us Trees started shaking bodies To relieve themselves from The burden of bearing with leaves Leaves are rolling in the streets Amid wafting winds and soft downpour As trees are being stripped naked In the clash of seasonal changes I see beauty gasping for a breath It is fading into a horizon of gloom

For me Autumn is the onset of a long gloomy season.

this is a very good view of the seasonal change -- with just the right mix of anticipation for the return of spring and summer next year -- as fall has become the change master -- keep your Muse alert and active this stark season -- it makes winter's gloom a little more palatable -- JMW

I have a love/hate relationship with autumn. Next to summer, it is my favortie season...it is what comes next...winter...that I do not like. Cold, short days, long nights...that "closed in" feeling. But there is hope in knowing that with the change of seasons, we will have the chance to welcome summer again. Beautiful writing, Abdi.

Such beauty among gloom. Never give up hope, Abdi, there is beauty in barren land, one has to find it and embrace change. I never liked to see summer come to an end, but now I embrace the changes, and look forward to what nature has in store for me. I try so hard to look at the positive no matter what.
