In Mogadishu, Somalia, I used to see dust on my window but now I see something different: Snow. I never appreciated winter as much as I do this year (my fourth year in Sweden). I think it is because of my children who welcomed the snow with such a joy and fervour. Braås is the town I live.
Through my kitchen window
I watched a beautiful drama
As white flakes started falling
I saw them getting melted
Soon as they kissed the grass
Thawing away
in the heat of the cold
But recovering the loss
As temperatures dropped
Till snow reigned high
AAhh What a beauty
This is no less than a smile
