Another dark part in the history of a country.
I was looking through the list and shocked about how many young people died. Why can those wars never stop?

I liked your haiku. I agree with your haiku. But for those of you who think we shouldn't have gone, and after we are there, should leave, it's okay, they are fighting for you too so you can bad-mouth our country and way of life. These last words was not meant for you Sara, because I feel that you do understand, they were for the naysayers in our midst.

Sara I am in agreement with this, thank you for sharing the website. This is not war, it is stupidity.
Ted, trust me I get that they hate us. As you know I was for the war when it started. In fact I am still for the war. It's just that this is not a war, it is Soldiers sitting around get picked off, one by one.
This isn't even like Vietnam. The soldiers in Iraq have no idea who they are fighting or how to go about ridding themselves of the bad guys. I smell disaster.
Sara...unfortunately I can relate to this...many of us felt the same way in Vietnam. We had young men killed over there because we could not return fire, by direct order, because the fire was coming from a "friendly" ville.
I don't like the idea of war...I don't know any veteran who does. Unfortunately, in this day and age it seems like a way of life for some.
What I will do is support those boys and girls who, for whatever reason, are put in harms way.
Your work here is good, because it is, unfortunately, very close to the truth.

You know I do not agree with this... If we pull out and just leave the Iraqi people to the terrorist then we can all quit our jobs, go home slit our children's throats and wait on them to come and rape us of our way of life, you don't get it they HATE YOU!
