Phil, with looks that could kill,
gave all women a thrill.
He laid around this town,
turned my life upside down
with phony baloney.
Should've known he was fried
when he sasheyed outside ...
looked, said, "Where's our pony?"
Never faithful to one ...
too busy having fun ...
himself his number one.
Boastful, HIGH on his looks,
he kept me--I clean ... cook--
but my heart, broken, shook.
Should've seen him a 'crook'
with phony baloney.
My heart beat just for him
and my head was a spin.
Why'd I love him only?
Since he called me honey,
gave him all my money.
Nothing he said was true ,
definitely ... "Love you!"
That phony baloney!
I've seen him slick, slathered,
looking rich and bothered
but it was just an act
for which he has a knack
with phony baloney.
He laid it on thick, ham!
I am but what I am.
My man ... a phony!
He's packed and set to go.
I want the world to know
he's phony baloney.
We each deserve a life--
to help us through life's strife,
someone to cherish, trust
our hearts to is a must.
Not phony baloney!
