Hedge Creek Falls … come sleep beneath the trees.
You will find perfect peace, great poise, ease.
Mother Nature will envelope you
(surely you will yield; all things do).
She’ll quiet you first with bubbling brook,
then shake you. (You’ll be thoroughly shook.)
From ashes we came; to ashes return.
Does it matter that flesh melts, will burn?
Cool, mountain streams trickle, tickle you.
Clouds kneel down, you huff, puff … smother do.
Trickling water soothes;
green hypnotizes.

Hedge Creek falls … taking you with passion--
precisely for your satisfaction--
dancing in a misty pirouette,
feeling the power of each spray, jet.
Changed by a soothing calm transition,you’ll be the same but ooze perfection.
Superb dedication reigns supreme.
Our expedition went to extremes.
The earth is constantly renewing,
refreshing herself from what’s spewing.
Mountain mist whispers
peace, hypothesizes.

Hedge Creek’s gone … sold to developers.
As life disappears, mounting numbers,
there’s a rumor Hedge Creek is haunted.
Priced cheap … people come … undaunted.
As they put on the finishing touch,
Mother raises up, without blush,
engulfs the community … what a rush!
She’ll creep underneath, seize with a hush.
Use care enraging Mother … brother;
she cares for ‘hers’ before all others.
Birds, little creatures
sway … hysterogenic.
